Welly Wednesday - Forest School. Children wear their own clothes. A letter will be sent to confirm the start date in the next few weeks.

 What is Remembrance Day? Talk about it with your grown up.  Can you draw / paint /colour a poppy to stick in your window?

This week we are thinking about the number 2

Complete the sheet all about number 2, we will send this via school comms.

 

Wednesday:

If you were a soldier you may have earnt a medal for being brave. Who would you give a medal to and why? Could you have a go at writing down the persons name? the first and last sound would be good. You could draw a picture of the medal you would give, or maybe the person and the medal.

 

Maths Activity:

This week we are thinking about the number 2

 After our game, can you find sets of two things in the house and draw them in your books. How many 2’s did you find? Did you find any £2 coins or a pair of socks.

Talk with your grown up about how the rabbit is feeling and why we plant the poppies in the fields.  Can you march like a soldier? How do they need to walk and stand (Photo’s and video’s would be great!)

Friday:

Its Children in Need day! – wear your Pudsey or spotty clothes if you can!

Watch the Twinkl children in need PowerPoint, what did you learn about children in need? (will send ppt on school comms)

Have a go at baking some cakes for children in need, or create a spotty picture.
