Thank you again for the amazing support you have shown towards Horsted since the state of the Covid pandemic.
As we enter another full lockdown (hopefully the last) we would like to re-assure you that we are doing all we can in terms of the quality of home learning we can provide and the quality of provision we can give to key worker pupils that need to attend school. We know that many of you are trying to juggle working from home and helping your children with their learning. Thank you for keeping them safe at home and releasing capacity for us to teach the children remotely.
We are intending to continue with the format of home learning explained to you in recent letters. Although we may tweak things as we move forward.
No ones knows quite how long this lock down will last but it will be at least until February half term. With this in mind please ensure that you engage in as much of the home learning as possible. The children will be missing at least a terms worth of face to face teaching and the more they can cover in the remote learning sessions the less they will need to catch up when we return to school.
We are lucky to have such a dedicated and selfless group of teachers at Horsted who really do put the children’s interests above their own.
We will get through this and be back together sometime in the spring I am sure.
Welcome to the website for Horsted School.
I hope that you find it helpful and full of useful information.
At Horsted school, we aim to provide a positive learning experience for every individual and we take pride in the fact that our pupils are nurtured in a safe, enjoyable, respectful learning environment because everyone in our school matters.
